ABOUT

Born in Houston, Texas, to a Swedish mother and American father, Kristine Wreyford spent her formative years in between Sweden, and the USA.

Kristine’s love of photography began at an early age of 8, assisting her father in the darkroom. Her introduction to fashion photography was at the age of 14, when she bought her first Vogue. She became instantly enthralled by the pictures. From then on, there was no turning back.

After several years of art and photography studies, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from University of North Texas. With portfolio and degree under arm and suitcase in hand, Kristine left the United States to return to Sweden to persue a career in fashion photography. After five years of assisting photographers, she was able to move into a studio on her own and had, by then, acquired a list of clientele to support her.

Photographing primarily fashion and beauty, with a keen sense of playfulness and creativity. By using a pencil and paper Kristine still relies on her sketches to help build a framework for each of her stories, while at the same time always being ready to throw caution to the wind and let mood take over.

Kristine feels extraordinarily lucky to wake up each morning knowing she will be working with photography.
To her photography is not work, it is what she loves.
